Standards Conformance for NG911 & Lessons Learned in CA NG911 Lab
View this webinar to learn about the Department of Homeland Security Science and Technology Directorate’s (DHS S&T) approach to ensuring nationwide NG911 interoperability and standards conformance and for an overview of lessons learned in the California Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES) NG911 Lab.
NG911 Interoperability and Standards Conformance Approach
The continued effort to create an interoperable NG911 "system of systems" is emphasized in DHS S&T’s approach to standards conformance for the nation’s NG911 systems. This approach will establish and implement a nationwide standards-based certification program for NG911 products. Learn about plans for stakeholder outreach and engagement to build consensus for the effort, along with proposed steps for a sound governance structure to support and sustain this program.
